Do you enjoy hiking, biking, or walking on greenways in the Triangle? Do you want to have a hand in conserving land, for future generations to enjoy, in its natural state? Become a member of the Triangle Greenways Council today!
The next time you find yourself outside on your favorite greenway; ask yourself how did this greenway come to be: Was it a City project? Did a landowner donate the property? Who built it? The answer is the hard work of countless individuals collaborating across multiple disciplines. You can join these individuals in a mission to preserve and protect natural areas in the Triangle Region and learn more about how greenways are developed. We are always looking for talented people that share our vision of interconnected greenway corridors across the Triangle Region. Short on time, but want to donate? A nonprofit with tax exempt status, the Triangle Greenways Council is an all-volunteer organization of local professionals and community members. It may accept charitable donations by virtue of its 501(c)(3) status. The Board’s Fundraising Committee will meet with potential donors to discuss donations over $1000. The Board is particularly interested in donations of land along creeks, streams, rivers, etc. Donate today! However you choose to involve yourself, remember that greenways don’t just drop down from the sky, they come about from the hard work of dedicated individuals.
