On April 17, 2010, Triangle Greenways celebrated Earth Day by hosting a booth at a festival outside the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. Board members and volunteers attended the booth while hundreds of people strolled the sidewalk between the State Capitol and Jones Street. Festival-goers enjoyed the sounds of musical acts, practiced Yoga, and participated in other Earth-friendly events. Visitors to the Triangle Greenways booth learned about Greenways and our efforts to protect natural habitats. The group has planned to host a booth during a similar event called 'Bugfest' on September 11, 2010 at the same location. Please stop by.
